Quality Timber Features
Decking has a rather unfounded negative image due in the main to badly considered designs and inappropriate placement within the garden context.
Stephen’s garden design knowledge coupled with over 20 years of teaching design technology enables him to create decks which are constructed to a high standard and appropriate to the garden context. No matter how well constructed, if a deck is directly under a sycamore or birch for example, you will end up with a sticky dirty unusable deck!
Decking can also be a sustainable alternative to, non-renewable stone and concrete products.
All the timber used is either reclaimed or new tannalised timber from fsc certified managed forests. If you insist on a hardwood deck then Stephen will insist on a certificate trail to ensure that your deck does not contribute to deforestation!
Bespoke pergolas and shade houses are also constructed from fsc certified and reclaimed timber.
