LETTER CARVED SIGNS

Having made a number of signs for local businesses and private clients I have decided to add this service to my web based services. I now have the technology to “V Carve” signs in timber and in some cases soft stone/slate. I can send artwork proofs  of the design prior to cutting. The image below left is a computer generated “Proof” whilst the image below right is the actual slate sign( photographed prior to gilding) As you will notice the actual sign has only one outline; a choice made after my client saw the “proof”.

Timber signs are made from 25mm thick European or American oak, Lettering can be  

picked out in any colour of your choice, using exterior enamel paint, with the finished sign sealed with 3 coats of “Liberon” outside Danish oil. It is recommended that an annual wipe over with fresh oil is done to ensure that a long life is achieved for the sign.  

Using my “Hiez” German built precision cnc milling/engraving machine and its advanced software I can rapidly design and send proofs for approval before precision machining your sign. The bed size of the machine is 1000mm x 600mm which is the maximum size of sign I can make in one piece. I can letter carve timber up to 3000mm long.

The images below show a sign made from 13mm thick “Foamex” sprayed black the letter are then machined  to leave white relief lettering for a stunning effect.
